SUPPLEMENTARY & SURVIVAL
INFORMATION -
Endurance: Insert a 4-figure number representing fuel endurance in hours and minutes.
Persons On Board: Insert the total number of passengers and crewmembers on board OR "TBN" (To Be Notified) when not known at the time of filing.
Emergency & Survival Equipment: CROSS OUT / PLACE AN "X"- through the box representing equipment which is NOT present on the aircraft.
...................................... AFSS NOTE: Place a "Y" adjacent to the related field, indicating which equipment is present...and place a "N" next to the related field, where equipment is known not to be present.
The following equipment is indicated by the corresponding M1FC data entry:
RU: UHF survival radio
RV: VHF survival radio
RL: ELBA - Emergency Location Beacon - Aircraft - (also known as "ELT" in the U. S.)
P: Polar survival equipment
D: Desert survival equipment
M: Maritime survival equipment
J: Jungle survival equipment
JL: Battery operated lights or strobes on Life Jackets
JF: Florescent (bright green die) packs on Life Jackets
JU: UHF handheld survival radios on Life Jackets
JV: VHF handheld survival radios on Life Jackets
Dingies or Inflatable Rafts:
ND: The number of "Dingies" or inflatable rafts on board the aircraft.
Capacity: The total capacity of all dingies on board the aircraft.
DC: Does the Dingy / Inflatable Raft have a cover?
CV: What is the color of the the dingie or dingy cover... SPELLED OUT.
